Senior Manager - Product Development - Fund Services - UK
Your key accountabilities
The job holder will work with both the investment and distribution businesses to research opportunities for new product ideas and deliver them to market. This is a broad reaching and exciting role that offers the holder access to a broad range of teams across our international network.
Seek to improve the product range on a continuous basis and optimize structures based on new regulatory and industry developments. Taking full consideration of commercial factors that impact existing assets and gathering of new assets.
Undertake research projects to determine the threat to the business from competitors and new product structures, and using this together with other knowledge anticipate issues that will affect existing funds and recommend and implement improvements as required
Build enduring relationships with both distribution and investment business groups and act as contact point for technical queries. Using this understanding of the differing market places across Europe ensure that we maintain appropriate and efficient product corporate structures.
Stay abreast of regulatory and other relevant market changes in the relevant jurisdictions (UK, Luxembourg and Dublin
TCF outcomes specific to this role:
Ensure TCF has been considered in the product construct and that the approving committees are satisfied that such considerations have been properly addressed by the business channel sponsoring the product. Specifically that the product has been designed to meet the needs of the target client group for such product. Such needs may include certain income levels, security of capital or long term growth, for example.
Your skills and experience
Essential skills
Experience in asset management including knowledge of operating UCITS III funds.
Excellent organisational and time management skills and good project management experience
Ability to manage multiple issues and tasks, across a wide range of disciplines, to tight deadlines
Commercially oriented problem-solver with a demonstrable history of innovative solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills. A clear thinker, who enjoys presenting analysis and conclusions to colleagues and management.
Knowledge of funds operation, regulation and distribution
Educated to degree level, or equivalent. Numerical degree preferred.
Desirable skills
Accountancy or legal experience would be advantageous
Understanding of derivatives
Desire to contribute ideas and to improve profitability of the business
